2.6.19. Send Mail
The VP-504(H)/508(H) can send a snapshot by E-mail when triggered by an alarm. Use the
Send Mail page to set E-mail details for each camera.
Under the Individual Settings, specify the type of event that causes the E-mail to be sent in
the Type field by choosing Motion Detect or GPI. Fill in the start and stop times for
monitoring the alarm, the recipients, subject and content of the E-mail. Enable a snapshot of
the camera video to be attached to the E-mail by selecting cameras in the Snapshot option.
Under the Global Settings, fill in the mail server details. Fill in the details using mouse and
keyboard and click Done when complete.
Note: If you set a domain name in the mail server setting, provide the DNS IP address
in the System Configuration (see System configuration ).
2.6.20 FTP Upload
The VP- 504(H)/508(H) can upload snapshots from the camera using FTP to a predefined
location in the event of an alarm. Use the FTP Upload page to set FTP details.
