Universal Access Method (UAM) is a simple Web browser based user authentication
method. On initial HTTP request to any Web site, client's browser is redirected to the
authentication page for login to the network. The login page can be served by internal Web
server or by external Web application Server.
UAM Overview
When using internal UAM, the Login page is the first page a client receives when he starts his
Web browser and enters any URL. To get access to the network, the user should enter his
authentication settings:
Username
and
Password
and click the
Login & Accept Terms
button:
