Wiring Connections
The IP66 hinged lid enclosure, when opened, contains an area for wir-
ing. Included in this area are numerous push and lock terminal blocks
for making all required connections. Included on the back of these ter-
minal blocks are test points for a digital multimeter (DMM) if the need
for measuring the voltage arises (i.e., a troubleshooting scenario). Five
nylon cable glands are provided that will accept cable diameters of
0.24 inches to 0.47 inches (6.0 mm to 12.0 mm) for separate power
and signal wiring. The degree of protection of at least IP66 to EN
60529 is only achieved if the certified cable entries used are suitable
for the application and are correctly installed. Unused apertures shall
be closed with suitable blanking elements.
Note: cable glands and ca-
ble gland plugs are provided at the time of purchase.

All wiring procedures must be
performed with the power off.
Use a Class 2 isolated power
supply that is grounded, pro-
vides DC output, and has no
more than 10% output ripple.
A power switch is not pro-
vided with this meter, an ap-
proved switch meeting the
power requirements listed in
Appendix A must be provided
by the user. It must be easily
accessible and marked as the
disconnect for the flow meter.
Only the connectors supplied
with the meter are to be used
for connecting wiring.
If the equipment is used in a
manner not specified, the pro-
tection provided by the equip-
ment may be impaired.
