3. DOLBY DIGITAL Setup
When set to “Stereo”, the player will output the left and right audio channels independently. When set to
“L-Mono”, the player will output the left channel to both left and right, when set to “R-Mono” the player will
output the right channel to both left and right, and when set to “Mix-Mono”, the left and right channels will be
mixed and output to both left and right
• DUAL MONO - Select STEREO for the player to output audio from both Left and Right Channels, L-MONO to output
audio from the Left channel only, R-MONO to output audio from the Right channel only, and MIX-MONO to output the
average audio signal from the Left and Right channels. NOTE: Use this setting when playing Dolby AC-3 encoded 2-
channel discs.
• DYNAMIC - When Dynamic range is set to FULL, softer music will automatically increase and louder music will
automatically decrease. When the slider is at the OFF position, the function will be disabled. NOTE: This function is
for use with Dolby Digital encoded discs.
4. CHANNEL DELAY
Here you can set the DELAY time of the Front Left, Front Right, Center, Back Left, Back Right, speakers as
well as the Subwoofer in 10 CM increments.
5. Equalizer
Here you can set the equalizer mode using preset EQ settings (none, rock, pop, life, etc.). You can also turn
the BASS BOOST, SUPER BASS, and TREBLE BASS ON and OFF.
5. 3D PROCESSING
Here you can set the Reverb mode using the preset reverb settings (off, concert, living room, hall, etc.)
6. HDCD (High Definition Compatible Digital)
For use with an HDCD formatted audio disc. You can choose between two sampling frequencies of digital fil-
ter: 44.1k, 88.2k, or OFF. The higher the audio frequencies are, the clearer the audio quality will be. NOTE:
Will only work with HDCD formatted discs.

1. COMPONENT
Here you can select the video output that you will be using. Choose between YUV, RGB, VGA, or OFF.
2. TV MODE
Here you can select between the scan modes INTERFACE and P-SCAN(progressive scan). Set the scan
mode to the same as your TV. NOTE: Progressive scan is available in YUV mode only (see COMPONENT op-
tions).
3. QUALITY
Here you can set the levels for video SHARPNESS, BRIGHTNESS, CONTRAST, GAMMA, HUE, SATURATION,
and LUMA DELAY.
