Monitoring Battery Life
The VistaPoint application does not provide an indication of Model UC-352 battery status. Battery status
is monitored from indicators provided on the Model UC-352 screen. For information about checking the
Model UC-352 battery status and replacing batteries, refer to the
A&D Model UC-352
Instruction Manual
.
After replacing the batteries, you will need to pair the Model UC-352 to the VistaPoint application again.
Pairing a New Scale or Discontinuing Monitoring
During normal operation it may be necessary to connect a different Model UC-352 Scale to the VistaPoint
application. Tap the
Pair New
button in the Weight section to unpair the Model UC-352 from the
VistaPoint application and begin the pairing process to a different Model UC-352 (or other supported
scale).
If weight monitoring is no longer required, no additional action is necessary. Clean and store the scale per
the instructions in the
A&D Model UC-352 Instruction Manual
.
Model UC-352 Status Alerts
During normal operation of the Model UC-352, the screen of the device may display alerts that indicate
device status or measurement status (for example, a measurement error or improper application). Refer
to the
A&D Model UC-352 Instruction Manual
for more information.
Selecting Weight Units (Pounds and Kilograms)
The Model UC-352 Scale can display weight in either pounds or kilograms. To change the units:
a. With the scale OFF, tap the
Set
button on the underside of the scale.
b. The display on the screen switches between “lb” (pounds) and “kg” (kilograms) with each tap of
the Set button.
c. Once the desired units are displayed, wait three seconds. The scale will sound a “beep” tone and
display “End” to indicate that the units have been updated.
