Control Panel Access
To gain access to the following components:
Electronic Ignition Switch, Ignition Module, Igniter,
Infrared Igniter, and Rotisserie Igniter remove
control panel.
To access control panel components:
1. Remove the control panel knobs.
2.
Remove screws securing the control panel to
the landing ledge.
3 Remove the center bezel(s) screw securing the
control panel to the manifold panel. Screw
location may differ per model.
4. Lower the control panel.
5. Reverse to reassemble.
Light Switch
The E-Series grills have interior halogen canopy
lights and are activated by a light switch. When
the switch is pressed the switch contacts close and
when the switch is in the off position the contacts
are open.
To access Light Switch:
1.
Access control panel components (
see Control
Panel Components Access section at right)
.
Locate light switch.
2. Remove nut securing switch to control panel,
and disconnect wiring.
3. Reverse procedure to reassemble.
Verify the switch reads open in the extended
position and 0
1
in the pressed position.

To avoid risk of electrical shock, personal injury, or death, disconnect gas supply and electrical power to unit
before servicing. After servicing, reconnect electrical power and gas supply.
