Disassembly Procedures

WARNING

To avoid risk of electrical shock, personal injury, or death, disconnect power to unit before servicing,
unless testing requires power.

Upper Freezer Section Light Bulb Removal

CAUTION

Wear gloves when replacing light bulb.

Condition Requirements:

Ice Bin Removed
1. Remove light shield by pressing the upper right side

of the shield and rotating downward.

2. Remove light bulb.
3. Replace with appliance bulb no greater than 40

watts.

4. Install light shield.

Auger Motor Assembly Removal

Condition Requirements:

Upper Freezer Light Bulbs Removed
1. Remove two screws from auger motor cover.
2. Lift and slide auger motor assembly toward the front,

disconnect connectors and remove auger motor
assembly.

3. Reverse procedure for installation.

Upper Freezer Light Socket Removal

Condition Requirements:

Auger Motor Assembly Removed
1. Disconnect wires from light socket.
2. Squeeze retaining tab to release socket.

3. Reverse procedure for installation.

Auger Motor Capacitor Removal

Condition Requirements:

Auger Motor Assembly Removed
1. Disconnect wires from capacitor
2. Remove screw and capacitor from assembly.

3. Reverse procedure for installation.

Lower Freezer Section Light Bulb Removal

CAUTION

Wear gloves when replacing light bulb.

Condition Requirements:

Freezer Shelves Removed
1. Remove light cover and light bulb.
2. Replace with appliance bulb no greater than 40

watts.
