If condensate escapes at vent aperture

Pull off cap

downwards.

Undo hose

Undo union nut

and pull siphon

downwards.

Clean siphon

Check that the condensate can drain
freely to the public sewage system.

Fill siphon

with water and reas-

semble.

Refit hose

Push on cap

from below.

Checking the diaphragm expansion vessel and system pressure

Note
Carry out this test on a cold system.

Drain the system or close the cap
valve on the diaphragm expansion
vessel and reduce the pressure until
the pressure gauge indicates "0".
