5 . The red sliding collar must be adjusted to
the proper operating position for the jaw size to
be used .
NOTE:
If necessary, press the trigger
to move the rollers forward if the red sliding
collar does not engage in the proper operating
position .

engaged in the upper/forward position) must be
used for 1/2-inch/21 .3-mm and 3/4-inch/26 .9-mm
sizes .

used for the 1-inch/33 .7-mm size .

6 . After adjusting the red sliding collar to the
appropriate position, make sure the button is
engaged completely with the hole in the sliding
collar, as shown above .
NOTE:
The button will
pop up with an audible click, ensuring that the
red sliding collar is in the locked position .
7 . Install the standard Vic-Press jaw or Vic-
Press adapter jaw into the tool . Make sure the
standard Vic-Press jaw or Vic-Press adapter jaw
aligns properly to permit insertion of the locking
pin .
