Alarm Actions

The alarm

with Powerplus software provide versatile responses to activated alarms while

maintaining simple alarm programming procedures. There are 256 alarms available from receivers and 256

alarms available from alarm interface devices

or

Both alarms associated with a

particular input number will activate if either activates, depending upon programming choices. If receiver
alarm input 001 or X-IA alarm 001 activates, the Edit Alarm Call-up (refer to page 34) choices for alarm input
001 will be used. Therefore, there are only 256 alarm actions for the 512 alarms. For more information on
alarm operations, refer to

Set Alarm Stack Mode

When multiple alarms are activated, a list of the activated alarm input numbers is created in temporary
memory. A separate list may be maintained for each alarm monitor, or one list may be used for all alarm
monitors, depending upon the monitor stack mode chosen for the system.
