Appendix

The information in this appendix is intended to explain how to use the IP Utility that is on the CD provided

with the camera (IP Camera Setup 2). Vicon recommends that this utility be used only as a tool to find an

unknown IP address of the camera, for example, if the camera IP address was changed and you do not

know what it is or if your camera network is an active DHCP server and the camera has been assigned a

DHCP address. Once the IP address is found, it is strongly recommended to use that address to then

configure the camera using the web browser as described in Camera Configuration section of this manual.

The IP Utility is designed with a user-friendly interface. When the utility is opened, the interface will display a

list of cameras connected to the system.
