Upgrade Firmware

In case you were instructed by Vicon technical support to update the camera firmware, obtain the upgrade

files from Vicon and follow these steps:

When the

Firmware Upgrade

tab is clicked, the following screen displays.

1. Select the firmware type want to upgrade.

2. Click

Browse

button to select the firmware file you will be using for the upgrade (as you obtained from

Vicon Technical Support).

3. Click

Browse

button to select the MD5 file you will be using for the upgrade (as you obtained from Vicon

Technical Support).

4. Click

Apply

button to upgrade the firmware and MD5 of this camera; after several minutes the camera will

reboot.

NOTE: Before upgrading the firmware and MD5 of the camera, make sure you choose the correct version of

this server.
