To do so, follow these steps:
1. Connect the measuring probe to the scope.
2. Set the measuring probe to x10
3. Set the sensitivity to 1V/div
4. Set the time base to 0.1ms/div
5. Choose the AC input coupling.
6. Place the probe tip on the test point on the
rear of the housing.
Adjust the trimmer (fig 81)of the measuring
probe in order to obtain a square wave signal
with a top that is as flat as possible (fig. 81a).

Holding the screen
Press the Hold button to freeze the waveform
on-screen (Fig. 83). It may be useful the
freeze certain signals in order to study them
or to perform measurements using markers
(Fig. 82).
Remarks:
•
Most of the operation functions are disabled.
•
Pressing the Hold button immediately stops
sampling at slow time bases. The rest of the
display will be cleared.
•
Pressing the Hold button again will remove
the signal from the display and turn the
scope into normal mode.
