DECODER Command (45h)
The decoder will allow four commands to be “inline.” Command code 001d will
flush any pending inline commands. When playback stops, pending inline com-
mands using MPEG Data Mode are flushed. Also the following inline commands
are flushed (regardless of inline mode) at the end of play: Slow Motion, Fast
Forward, Pause, Freeze Frame, Mute, Unmute, and Blank.
The following table shows when the command can be sent: before MPEG Play is
sent, or during playback as an Immediate or Inline command. (“Immediate” means
that, during playback, the command is executed immediately when received.)
1011b
Adjacent Channel Frame Count mode:
Command will remain pending
until a specific frame count of the adjacent channel is reached. Use com-
mand 0024 Set Frame Count to set the specific frame count.
1100b
Adjacent Channel Playback Start:
Command will remain pending until
MPEG play has started on the adjacent channel.
1101b
Adjacent Channel Playback End:
Command will remain pending until
MPEG play has stopped on the adjacent channel.
