Fuse Replacement
1. Without powering down the decoder, remove the plastic front panel cover by
gripping the sides and pulling the cover straight out.
2. Remove four access screws for the primary power supply tray.
3. Slide out the power supply tray approximately 3 inches.
4. Detach the attached flex cable by lifting up on the connector tabs.
Caution — do not pull the flex cable out of the cabinet.
5. Completely remove the defective power supply assembly by sliding it the rest
of the way out of the unit.
6. Install the new primary power supply assembly. Installation procedure is the
reverse of the removal procedure.
Secondary Power Supply Replacement
The “hot swap” removal and replacement procedure for the secondary power
supply is as follows (the secondary supply is located to the left of the fan access
panel and may be marked “aux”):
Important: Due to normal electrical hazards, this procedure
must be performed by qualified personnel only!
1. Without powering down the decoder, remove the plastic front panel cover by

2. Remove four access screws for the secondary power supply tray.
3. Remove the defective power supply assembly by sliding it out.
4. Install the new secondary power supply assembly. The procedure is the
reverse of the removal procedure.
Fuse Replacement
For equipment protection, the CineCast Quad Pro incorporates a pair of 2A
Slo-Blo line fuses that are located within the AC power receptacle. Fuse
replacement procedure is as follows:
1. Power down the unit by depressing the power switch.
2. Disconnect the AC power cable from the rear of the unit. Important:
Review the electrical warning on page 1 of this chapter.
3. Remove the fuse container (located directly above the AC receptacle).
4. Replace the defective fuse(s) with 2A 250V Slo-Blo fuses as needed.
5. Reinstall the fuse container, reconnect the AC power cable, and apply power to
the unit. Note that if a customer-supplied power cable is used, it must be equal to
or exceed 18 AWG, 1250W, 10A-125V.
