Decoder Installation

Host Adapter (Initiator) Configuration

The following Ultra-2 SCSI host adapter, based on the PCI bus, is recommended:

• Qlogic Ultra-2 Wide SCSI host adapter, Model QLA-1080.

Note: Adaptec host adapters, such as the Model AHA-2940U2W, have an inherent problem 
dealing with multiple LUN SCSI devices. This limits their performance and are not recom-
mended at this time.
