The MPEG decoding hardware does not support this feature.
Video/Audio Channel Buffer Errors
The MPEG decoding hardware does not support this feature; however, audio/
video collision errors are supported in firmware.
Genlock Loss Error
RECOVERED ERROR, GENLOCK SYNC LOST
(as defined in SCSI spec., Video Acquisition Error)
This error is reported when the decoder loses the genlock input sync. This error
will only be reported when genlock mode is enabled (see
DECODER
(45h) com-
mand, code 0016h Set Genlock Mode). Only enable this when decoder is in
genlock mode. If bit 9 of the command = 0, then:
The Additional Sense Bytes (bytes 18 & 19) will be set to 0107h. Once genlock
sync is lost, this error will continue to be reported every half-second. When
genlock is enabled [via
DECODER
(45h) command, command code 0016h], and bit
9 of the command = 1 (automatic switch back to Standalone mode upon detection
of genlock loss), and genlock is not present: “Recovered error, genlock sync lost.
”
The decode, from that point on, will remain in Standalone mode until genlock is
re-enabled by the host.
