Auto Save
: a dropdown menu option that defines the Fiber Scope application to provide ease of use saving capabilities. If Autosave option is
enabled, the unit automatically saves and creates the filename using Trace ID field content after the specified test function. The file location
and name will display.
Available for single fiber analysis ONLY.
Selecting
Ask Before Save
brings up the Save menu with naming and comment options.
Disabled
: this function is off/deactivated/not used
Autosave on Tap
: In the capture tab, the user can tap on the screen to automatically save the captured image. “Tap screen to save”
will appear to indicate that the feature is enabled.
Autosave after freeze:
Automatically saves the captured image upon freezing the image. (Auto-freeze enabled or normal Freeze)
Job ID

Fiber ID
, and
Trace ID
are nested folders that store saved results. Folders are nested in the following order:
Job

Cable
>
Fiber

Trace
. Tap on the blank fields to edit the names.
Increment
: Increments the selected ID name if an Auto Save option is selected.

option from the dropdown menus in

setup; then,
navigate to the
Capture tab
.
Fiberscope Connection Instructions
When the DI-1000, DI-1000MPO, or DI-3000 are powered, they will emit a blue LED. Rotate the focus knob to bring the image into focus. The
DI-3000 has an auto-focus button to preform the focus for the user.
Saved image files can be retrieved from
File Manager
(see File Manager for details) or managed from the
Results
tab.
