Essential tools: Scissors, Phillips screwdriver
Replace when: The center-dry tape breaks, burns, or
when the seal becomes messy, etc.
The center-dry tape is sold individually.
1
Remove the old center-dry tape, starting from
the edge.
2
Using scissors, cut the new center-dry tape
about 5mm longer than the pressure lever on
each end (about 370mm).
3
Apply it to the pressure lever starting from the
edge. Fold along both edges so that the excess
tape over the pressure lever adheres to the sides
of the clamping lever.
When doing so, make sure the non-adhesive
central part of the center-dry tape covers the
heating element.
Electrodes that mount the heating element consist of
parts as in the right illustration.
