How to attach the temperature sensor

Prepare for the new temperature sensor.
The screw A-1 side: Secure the temperature
sensor fixing plate to the pressure lever by
inserting the protrusion of the temperature
sensor fixing plate into the hole at the end of the
temperature sensor.

The screw A-2 side: Temporarily secure the
temperature sensor by sliding the temperature
sensor under the temperature sensor fixing
plate.

Firmly secure the temperature sensor fixing
plate (the screw A-2 side) while lightly pulling
the sensor toward the temperature sensor
module so that there is no slacking between the
temperature sensor fixing plate (the A-1 side)
and the temperature sensor fixing plate (the A-2
side).

Fix the temperature sensor module.

Install the heating element referring to “10-3

28).

Install the center-dry tape referring to “10-2
Center-dry tape replacement” (→ page

Install the temperature sensor under the heating element.

Attention
Make sure that there is no slacking
between Screw A-1 and Screw A-2.
Caution
When pulling the temperature
sensor, pulling too hard by holding
the temperature sensor module
may cause the sensor portion to
break.
Attention
Be sure to pay utmost care and
operate accurately as misaligning
or forgetting to attach the
temperature sensor will prevent the
machine from measuring
temperature properly. (Please refer
to the right illustration.)
