Essential tools: Scissors, Phillips screwdriver
Replace when: The heating element breaks often, the
seal becomes messy, etc.
The glass tape and Sarcon sheet are either sold
individually or included in the maintenance parts kit.

Carefully read the respective replacement
instructions on the center-dry tape, heating
element and temperature sensor, and remove all
of them. Please noted that you do not have to
remove the temperature sensor completely.
Remove only the fixing screw on the sensor tip
so the glass tape and Sarcon sheet can be
installed.

Completely remove the glass tape and Sarcon
sheet.

Cut the new Sarcon sheet at 364mm of length
and adhere it to the pressure lever.

Cut the 38mm-width glass tape at 370mm of
length and adhere it over the Sarcon sheet.

Fold the glass tape along both edges so that the
excess tape over the pressure lever adheres to
the sides of the pressure lever.

Adhere the semi-transparent tape over the edges
of the glass tape on both front and back sides.

Attach the temperature sensor, heating element
and the center-dry tape.

Adhere the 38mm-width

Fold along both edges and
adhere to the sides of the
pressure lever.
Adhere the 15mm-width
semi-transparent tape on
the both sides of the
38mm-width glass tape.

Attention
Applying the Sarcon sheet and
glass tape to a surface with
adhesive residues will negatively
affect the sealing surface.
Attention
If the adhesive of the Sarcon sheet
is weak when replacing the glass
tape, please replace the Sarcon
sheet as well.
