Ensure that the ﬁ replace

area is clear of ﬁ reglass particles as these could
be ingested by small children. Vacuum area after
installation.

Installed glass plate

2. Install the glass plate on the platform, the textured

side underneath and the smooth side on top. The
plate is ﬂ ush with the edge of the burner. Like for the
steel platform underneath, push the glass platform
as far back as possible to maximize the air gap
behind the burner.

3. Fill a small container with approximately 3 cups

(750 ml) of ﬁ reglass.

4. Carefully spread the ﬁ reglass on the surface of

burner patting it gently with your hand to form a
single layer to the approximate level of the top edge
of the ﬂ ange around the burner. Do not pour too
much to avoid blocking the burner ports.

5. Some ﬁ reglass may be added on the platform to

cover the edge of the burner and in the space in
front and behind the pilot shield.
