2: Replace photosensitive drum
When the photosensitive drum is near the end of its service life, the engine control panel will show the
following information.

The photosensitive drum showed does not need to be replaced immediately but please
prepare a new one. The current one can print another 7,500*2 steps.

The photosensitive drum showed shall be replaced immediately. The current one can
print another 2,300*2 pages. Please prepare a new one.
Please replace photosensitive
drum X*1
The photosensitive drum is near the end of its service life. The printer stops printing.
Replace the photosensitive drum showed in the message by following the "replacing
steps".

When the photosensitive drum is near the end of its service life, you select [continue
printing] *3 in the [photosensitive drum is at the end of its service life] and it will
show this information. Although you can continue printing for a period of time, but
we cannot guarantee the printing quality. We recommend you to replace the new
photosensitive drum.
*1: In actual display, X will be replaced by R1

. R1 to R4 is the name of the
photosensitive drum. When you are facing the printer, from left to right in the printer, there is black (K), cyan (C),
magenta (M) and yellow (Y) photosensitive drum.
*2: The amount of the printing pages of each consumable varies with actual printing request, printing file, time interval of
power on/off and the temperature and humidity of the installation environment of the printer.
*3: Under such circumstance, the display screen will still show [ready for printing-replace photosensitive drum:X]. When
the printer detects abnormal condition of the photosensitive drum, it will stop the printing to protect the printer.

Turn the unlocking control lever on the cover of the
photosensitive drum anticlockwise.

Hold the toner cartridge with the arrow up and push it in
slowly till
it is fully clipped in.

Close the front cover.

Confirm the printer is not in running and open the front cover.
