Installation as a distributor in the heating flow line from
the heater.
Branch AB <—> A: to the hot water standby zone;
valve spring under load
Branch AB <—> B: to the central heating puffer volume,
valve spring released
Directed return in the heating return line is handled by
the 3-way valve integrated in the heat pump.
4.3 Fitting the external 3-way valve

Caution!
Risk of damage from unsuitable tools!
Improper installation and/or unsuitable tools
can cause damage to property (such as bro-
ken pipes and water escaping)!
When fastening or undoing threaded con-
nections, always use open-ended spanners
(open-end wrenches) of the right size.
Do not use pipe wrenches, extensions etc.
Remove the parts from their packaging.
Make sure that the white switch lever on the motor
head is in its starting position (up, away from the
valve).
Push the connector pipes into the compression fit-
tings on the valve body.

Caution!
Risk of damage from leaks!
Mechanical stress on connecting lines can
lead to leaks, which may result in damage to
the heat pump.
Avoid mechanical stress on connecting
lines.
First screw the connector pipes in place with the cap
nuts on the piping.
Then tighten the compression fittings on the valve
body.

Note!
If necessary, you can remove the external
3-way valve later without dismantling the
piping.

4.4 Electrical installation
Plug the connector on the connection cable into the
3-way valve (Molex connector).
Connect the connection cable to the eBUS contact on
the heat pump (

heat pump ). If the contact is already occupied, use an
eBUS distributor.
Set the correct hydraulic layout on the heat pump's
controller (

Set the correct cylinder type on the heat pump's
controller (

pump ).
The external 3-way valve is controlled parallel to the
internal 3-way valve.
