Clock Settings

If the CLOCK option is selected, the Clock Confir-
mation screen is displayed, as shown in Figure 1-
12. This screen allows the current date and time
setting to be reviewed and changed. The date
and time shown will be used when sending count
data to a hardware option, if one is installed.
The date will appear in either American (MM/DD/
YYYY) or International (YYY/MM/DD) format,
depending on the current setting. The time is dis-
played in a 12 hour AM/PM format
Selecting OKAY will return to the Options screen.
Selecting CHANGE will display a series of
screens cycling from date format to setting the
hour, minute, and AM/PM of the current time.
This sequence of clock setting screens can be
exited without completing the entire cycle by
pressing the ESC key. This will return to the Main
Menu without making any changes to the current
clock settings (i.e., any changes made prior to
pressing the ESC key will be lost).
Date Format
The first clock setting screen is shown in Figure 1-
13. Pressing 1 on the keypad selects an Ameri-
can date format (month, day, year) and pressing 2
selects an International format (year, month, day).
Once a selection is made, the next screen will
appear.
Year
The next screen is shown in Figure 1-14. This
screen is used to set the current year. Enter the
last two digits of the current year (for example,
“07” for 2007) and then press the ENT key. The
number entered must fall within a range from 06-
99 (representing the years 2006 to 2099). Once
the ENT key is pressed, the next screen will
appear.
Month
This screen (Figure 1-15) is used to set the current
month by entering a two digit number from 01
(January) to 12 (December). Pressing the ENT
will advance to the next screen.
