The Upstream has a smart display:

The operator interface allows for

unprecedented access to information such as lamp lifetime, message history and
UV intensity display.

The Upstream can show remote status:

Be alerted to any change in system

status immediately in any room with the optional Remote Monitor. The monitor is
a handheld wireless device can be placed in a convenient location to provide
operational information about the Upstream.

The Upstream has a built-in purge valve:

The purge valve eliminates the need

to shutdown the unit in the event of no water flow for days (as long as water
supply is present). It is designed to prevent build up metals and minerals on
internal components. The purge valve also eliminates nuisance alarms from
changing water transmittance conditions.

The Upstream offers remote start up:

The Upstream can be started or stopped

via external device.
