ONTENT OF CHANGES

:

 

 
 

The paper jam J9000/J9200/J9410 (Note1) may occur due to the following causes. 
Thus, the following are changed. 

Note1:  J9000 

 No paper feed from DP.  

J9200 

 DP registration sensor non arrival jam. 

J9410 

 DP timing sensor stay jam.

The load by getting narrow the paper 
path due to the contact between the 
original stopper and the rib of the DP top 
cover may be applied to the original 
conveying when feeding the original 
stack from DP. As a result, the DP motor 
may step out and it may cause the 
phenomenon in the left. 

 

 

 Corrective measures for the cause 

A

-

 

1)  The following are changed to reduce the original stack 
 

feeding by the DP forwarding pulley. 

 

-Weakened the torque of the torque limiter in the DP  

 

 paper feed roller ass'y (No.1) from 500gf to 360gf. 

 

-Disused the spacer in the DP paper feed roller ass'y  

 

 (No.1) according to the above change. 

2)  The following is changed to secure the sufficient paper  
 

path even if the original stopper contacts the rib of the 

 

DP top cover. 

 

-Partly cut the shape of the original stopper in the DP  

 

 paper feed roller ass'y (No.1).

current for the smooth original conveying from DP.

The load by bumping the single original 
with the upward curl against the DP 
paper feed roller may be applied to the 
original conveying. As a result, the DP 
motor may step out and it may cause the 
phenomenon in the left.  

 

J9000

If the original detection actuator is 
located toward the machine front side 
depending on the parts variation, the no-
paper feed jam J9000 may occur that is 
caused by the actuator riding on the DP 
original sensor.  

The following are changed to locate the original detection 
actuator toward the machine rear side. 

 

Temporary measures 

Added the shim (No.3) to the DP's fulcrum part at the 
machine front side.  

 

Permanent measures
