The cassette lift plate may deform by the aged deterioration and the paper position may be lowered if the conditions below
occur at the same time, especially in the case of the main machine cassette. Then, the remaining paper may not reach the
remaining paper detection actuator to cause mis-detection of paper empty. Therefore, the following are changed. Note that
an attention is required when replacing the part and refer to [Field Measure].
Conditions:
- The cassette heater is always turned on. (Heat affected)
- A large stack of maximum size paper is loaded for a prolonged time (Load affected)

(*) The actuator is not changed for the CDC 5520, CDC 5525 / DCC 6520, DCC 6525 since the shape of the actuator and
mechanical structure.
The lift plate (No.1) and actuator (No.2) are physically compatible between the old and new type, however, the following is
concerned in mixed use.

sensing range for [Low] may shift to cause mis-
detection of [Empty]
