4.9 READERS
PROGRAMMING
Following programming is provided for readers:
•
Association to Zones
: the LEDs of each key reader can be freely associated to one or more System zones.
It is not possible to associate the same zone to more LEDs of the same key reader.
The key reader operates on zones associated to its 3 LEDs:
- total arm performed from that key reader corresponds to the arm of all zones associated to that key reader;
- every green LED displays the status of associated zones (see § 2.2);
- through yellow LED, only open inputs and alarms concerning associated zones are displayed.
•
Masking
: masking allows to enable the masking of system status on the reader (see § 5.2.8). Masking inhibits key
reader LED signalling, which will only become visible at inserting a valid key.
To program an electronic or proximity key reader, access, from Technician menu «PROGRAMMING» / «READERS».
Then select the number of reader to be programmed.
Reader submenu is then accessed where there can be configured:
•
«ASSIGN

o
«LED 1»

o
«LED 2»
to associate reader LED 2 to zones
o
«LED 3»
to associate reader LED 3 to zones
Close to LED numbering there is graphically indicated LED position on key reader.

4.10 RADIO DEVICES PROGRAMMING
Like previously described for wired devices as concerns input and output programming, radio device programming too is
modelled on the same architecture, to which have been added specific menus relevant to radio devices and remote
control. Below, the programming menu flowchart, already present in 1067, control panel, shows the plug-in level from
the new branch, improved with all the parameters that can be selected on each peripheral:
NOTE:
function available with 1067 control panel and 1067/021 keypads, software version 3.00 or higher and with an
1067/010 radio expansion.
