6. Troubleshooting
This chapter explains corrective action when problems occur.
6-1. Troubleshooting
When a problem occurs, please perform an initial diagnostic with the LED indicators on the front panel of
the power supply and the controller display according to the method below. If you perform
troubleshooting and the symptoms do not improve, contact UVLAC.
Checking the connectors is dangerous. Always shut off the power supply's primary-side
switch and wait five minutes or more before inspecting.

No.
Symptom
Possible cause
Action
1
LEDs do not turn on
1. No AC input
2. Blown fuse
1. Check the cable connections.
2. Replace the relevant power
supply or controller.
2
Cannot release the
interlock
1. The photocoupler between pins
35-37 for the analog/digital
interface (AD-IF) on the external
control device cannot turn on
2. The top or front panel on the power
supply is not securely closed
3. The DPG-30R output cable
connector is not securely
connected
1. With the AD-IF connector
removed, check that 24 V is
being generated between the
external control device's interlock
wiring terminals.
2. Check the top and front panels.
3. Securely connect the cables.
3
The Magnet contactor
cannot turn on
1. A failure has occurred
2. The interlock is not released
1. Correct the cause of the failure.
2. Release the interlock.
4
READY does not turn
on
The electromagnetic contact is off, a
failure has occurred, the interlock is
not released
1. For the interlock: See No. 1.
2. Clarify the details of the failure
and handle the failure by
replacing the component, etc.
5
OVER CURRENT
ERROR
Main inverter overcurrent
Replace the power supply.
6
FUSE ERROR
Blown fuse
Replace the power supply.
