Editing CEAID Property from Command Line
Learn how to set the
CEA ID
(Consumer Electronics Association Digital Television Profile,
as defined in CEA-861-D) for a Custom Resolution via the command line.

Resources.Resolutions.Resolution1000.CEAID
Description
This attribute is to be used only when creating a Custom Resolution as defined in CEA-861-
D.
Example
Resources.Resolutions.Resolution1000.CEAID = 0
Resources.Resolutions.Resolution1000.CEAID = 0
!Done Resources.Resolutions.Resolution1000.CEAID = 0

Notes
This field value must be 0 or a value specified in the CEA Standard Profile, as defined in
CEA-861-D.
The CEA identifier information option does not affect the Custom Resolution. It is there
strictly for providing attached equipment with information on the resolution. When defining a
Custom Resolution, only set this value if you are configuring it to comply with the CEA Profile
for that value.
Caution:
If the value of
CEA ID
is not 0 and the Custom Resolution does not
conform to the CEA Profile for that value, the result is undefined and
behavior may not be as expected.
