Editing Horizontal Sync Polarity Property from Command Line
Learn how to set the
Horizontal Synchronization Polarity
for a Custom Resolution via the
command line.
Command
Resources.Resolutions.Resolution1000.HSyncPolarity
Description
The
Horizontal Sync Pulse
is a single short pulse which identifies the start of each row of
pixels (line of video) in the Custom Resolution. It can be either
Positive
or
Negative
. This
value is the
Horizontal Sync Polarity
.

Only the case-insensitive values
N
(or
n
) for
Negative
and
P
(or
p
) for
Positive
polarity will
be accepted.
In the CORIOdiscover Resolution Editor, the
Pixel Clock
is not affected by any changes to
the
Horizontal Sync Polarity
. However, the
Horizontal Frequency
and
Vertical
Frequency
read-only fields vary based on
Horizontal Sync Polarity
changes.
