ASSEMBLY AND INSTALLATION

Step  7. 

(See  Figure  4)

  Lower  the  height  adjusting 

screws

 on the front mounting support

●  Loosen  the  jam  nuts

  and  thread  the  height 

adjusters screws

 in until they bottom out. Leave 

jam nuts and screws finger tight. 

The adjusters will 

be raised after top dresser is installed on the truck.

Step 8. 

(See Figure 5)

 Remove the screws 

[2]

 securing 

the  WideSpin  1540 TEC  to  the  top  of  front  shipping 

brackets. 

Do  not  remove  the  screws  holding  the 

brackets to the crate base.

●  Remove  any  other  bindings  holding  the  WideSpin 

1540  TEC  rear  frame  member  (and  spinner 

assembly) to the crate base.

Step 5. 

(See Figure 3)

 Install the front mounting 

support

 to the truck.

● Remove the pin 

[11]

 holding the Cushman hydraulic 

lift cylinder to the truck frame.

●  Set  the  front  mounting  support 

[10]

  on  the  truck 

frame.  The  supports  lower  mounting  point 

[12]

 

should point towards the back of the truck. Align the 

hole in the lower mounting point with the hole in the 

trucks frame and lift cylinder.

● Reinstall the hydraulic cylinder pin 

[10]

. Pin should 

go  through  the  front  mounting  support,  the  truck 

frame, and the hydraulic cylinder. Reinstall the cotter 

pins to secure the pin.

●  Attach  one  clamp 

[13]

  to  each  end  of  the  front 

mounting support. The clamps attach to the inside of 

the front mounting support and clamp to the inside 

top edge of the truck frame

. Attach using a 3/8” 

x 1-1/4” carriage bolt

, 3/8” flat washer 

[16]

, 3/8” 

lock washer

, and 3/8-16” hex nut

. Do not 

tighten the hardware at this time.

● Check that the mounting support is straight (at a 90º 

degree  angle  to  the  frame)  and  tighten  the  clamp 

hardware securely.

Step 6.

   

Disable the Truckster hydraulic lift 

cylinder by disconnecting both hydraulic 

lines.

 

Unplug at the quick disconnect fittings on the 

trucks  remote  hydraulic  box.  Refer  to  the  directions 

in  the  Cushman/Textron  Turf-Truckster  Operators 

Manual and on the decal located on the trucks remote 

hydraulics box cover. Protect the hose ends and the 

connection ports from contamination.

Cushman Turf-Truckster Must Be 

Equipped With Remote Hydraulic 

and Hi-LO Hydraulic Accessory Kit.
