6 _QUICK SETUP
The following section will help you to calibrate your room very quickly. Indeed Trinnov Audio has developed
a step by step procedure, called Wizard, to simplify the calibration. Please follow the steps below if you
want to calibrate with the Wizard or go to section … if you want to do it manually.
6.1 _GETTING READY FOR THE CALIBRATION
Before starting the wizard please make sure of the following points:
• You have a screen plugged to your Altitude
16
or your unit is connected to the network and you are using a VNC.
• You have the Trinnov microphone with his compensation file (Please view the section 5.10) (If your own a Trin-
nov Audio microphone, the compensation file should be on a USB key located on the microphone box. Other-
wise, you can contact
support@trinnov.com
with the serial number of the microphone (vx-xxx) and ask for the file).
• You have already plugged your entire layout and noted somewhere the configuration path of all channels.
6.1.1 _AUDIO BUFFER SIZE SETUP
First, you have to check if the audio buffer size of the system is configured correctly.
Default buffer size is 1024 samples. It is recommended to keep this value to avoid any problems.
The Word Clock page in the main window provides information about the status of the audio clock:

If the Audio buffer size is set to 1024 samples you can jump to the next chapter.
