How InterScan Gateway Security Appliance Works

Note:

Administrators set up Approved Senders and Blocked Senders lists in InterScan
Gateway Security Appliance. End users can also set up Approved Senders lists
using End User Quarantine. If an end user approves a sender, but the sender is on
the administrator's Blocked Senders list, InterScan Gateway Security Appliance
will block messages from that sender and classify them as spam.

Wildcard Matching

InterScan Gateway Security Appliance supports wildcard matching for Approved
Senders and Blocked Senders lists. It uses the asterisk (*) as the wildcard character.
