Setting for Machine Speed Switch
When you touch the [Map]-[Motor] icon, the setting
items shown at left will be displayed.
When you want to set different machine speeds for pile
and boarder sections respectively
Set [Machine speed switch] to [ON].
[H], [M], and [L] specified for Jacquard or loom patterns
are assigned to [High], [Mid], and [Low] on the screen
shown at left.
Set machine speeds for [High], [Mid], and [Low]
respectively. Set [Current machine speed] to a machine
speed for [High].
However, even if your Jacquard is the CAN specifica-
tion, only two signals [H] and [L] are available for the
Classic design and parallel signal specification, and thus
only [High] and [Low] become effective.
When [Machine speed switch] shown above is set to ON
The setting items shown at left will be displayed for the
[Map]-[TwCtrl] icon.
In order to stabilize weft insertion upon machine speed
switch, set [ATC/Border control] to [ON]. Then set
[Adjustment speed] to a machine speed adjusted by color.
Color 1 shown at left is set to 600 rpm. In this case, when
weft is inserted at the low speed of 400 rpm, the loom is
controlled so that Tw is adjusted at the yarn speed of 600
rpm.
Weft cannot be inserted at any speed higher than a set
(adjusted) machine speed.
Set [Control width] and [Control amount] to the initial
values shown at left, respectively. For any color having a
large machine speed change (100 rpm or higher), increase
the value for [Control width].
