3.9 DUMP Mode
In dump mode, data in the receive buffer are printed. Data are expressed in hexadecimal values. This
operation allows the user to verify programming commands or debug the program.

How to Perform a Dump Operation
NOTE:
If an error occurs when the printer is printing the data dumped from the receive buffer, the printer
displays an error message, then stops. The error is cleared by pressing the
[PAUSE]
key, and
the display returns to the receive buffer dumping menu
“<5> DUMP MODE”.
After recovering from the error, the printer does not automatically resume printing.
ON LINE
“PAUSE” is displayed.
PAUSE
[PAUSE]
Press the
[PAUSE]
key.
[PAUSE]
Press and hold the
[PAUSE]
key for at least 3 seconds.
<1>RESET
The reset menu is displayed.
The printer is turned on, standing by, or printing.
<5>DUMP MODE
[POWER]

Press the
[POWER]
key.
PRINT ON DEMAND
[POWER]
Press the
[POWER]
key.
NOW PRINTING…
The printer starts printing data in the receive buffer.

Demand print
Press and hold the
[POWER]
key for at least 3 seconds.
<1>RESET
[POWER]
Press the
[POWER]
key.
ON LINE
The reset menu is displayed.
The printer returns to the same state as when the power is turned off and on again.
When “<1>PARAMETER SET” appears, press the
[PAUSE]
or
[FEED]
keys until the
following display appears.
[PAUSE] or [FEED]
After printing is completed, the display returns to the receive buffer dumping menu.
