HYDRAULIC SYSTEM

Adjusting the Tracking

The right hand pump has a knob for adjusting the

tracking (Fig. 145).

Important: Adjust the handle neutral and hydraulic

pump neutral before adjusting the

tracking. Refer to Adjusting the Handle

Neutral on page 4-12 and Setting the

Hydraulic Pump Neutral page 4-14.

1. Push both control levers forward the same distance

(Fig. 146). The machine should travel in a straight

line. If not, proceed to step 2.

3. Adjust pump rod length by rotating the double nuts in

the appropriate direction, until wheel is still or slightly

creeps in reverse (Fig. 144).

4. Move the motion control lever forward and reverse,

then back to neutral. The wheel must stop turning or

slightly creep in reverse.

5. Open the throttle to fast. Make sure the wheel

remains stopped or slightly creeps in reverse;

readjust if necessary.

6. Tighten the locknuts at the ball joints.

7. After both pump neutrals are set, shut off the

machine.

8. Remove the jumper wire from the wiring harness

connector and reconnect to the seat switch.

9. Reinstall the prop rod and lower the seat into

position.

10. Remove the jack stands.
