Installing the ROPS
Assembly
Parts needed for this procedure:
1 Left ROPS bracket
1 Right ROPS bracket
6 Flange-head bolt (1/2 x 3 inches)
10 Flat washer (1/2 inch)
6 Locknut (1/2 inch)
1 Roll bar
4 Flange-head bolt (1/2 x 3-1/2 inches)
4 Locknut (1/2 inch)
2 Cable tie
4 Plastic rivet
Drilling the Hole for the ROPS
Brackets
CAUTION
Use caution when drilling the holes into the
right side of the frame on an electric machine.
If you drill too far, you could damage the
batteries or other components.
1. Align a ROPS bracket with the 2 holes behind
the seat base and the hole toward the front of
the frame rail as shown in
Figure 20 .

2. Using a clamp, secure the ROPS bracket in
place.
3. Mark the hole locations on the ROPS bracket
(
Figure 20 ).
4. Using a ROPS bracket as a guide, drill 3 holes
(13.5 mm or 17/32 inch) into the frame (
Figure
21 ).
