3 AUTOMATIC TRACKING / AUTOMATIC COLLIMATION (GPT-8000A series)

3.1 Automatic Tracking

Measuring the moving target in automatic tracking mode.
• It is possible to perform auto-tracking only in prism mode. When switched to the automatic

tracking mode, it becomes prism mode from NP mode automatically. Moreover, after the end of an
automatic tracking does not return to Non-prism mode.

• The Coarse (10mm) mode is used for the moving target.
• Use a keyboard on the eyepiece side. When the keyboard on the opposition side is used an

error will be displayed to protect a worker from the radiation of the laser.

3 AUTOMATIC TRACKING / AUTOMATIC COLLIMATON

Let the laser beam reach the aimed object or the target without anybody else in the laser beam path. In
case you operate laser beam open, avoid radiating laser beam to the height of man's head. It is quite
possible for the beam to enter into one's eyes, and it is possible to lose visual sight temporarily, and lose
one's caution and awareness of other dangers - avoid glaring beam.(GPT-8000A series)
