Fuse Replacement
If the mains switch is not lit when switched on even though the mains socket is live,
remove the mains plug from the mains socket.
The bottom of the soldering station contains the fuse holder with the inserted fuse.
Loosen the fuse holder by turning it counter-clockwise to the left a bit with a suitable
screwdriver. Then the fuse insert with the inserted fuse can be removed.
Replace the defective fuse with a new one of the same type and rated data (see
label on the fuse or the rating plate of the soldering station; also see chapter “Techni-
cal Data”).
Never use a fuse with any other rated data. Never bridge the fuse! There
is a danger of
fi
re!
Return the fuse insert into the soldering station and lock it by pushing it in a bit and
turning it clockwise to the right.
If the fuse trips again after the soldering station is switched on, switch off the solder-
ing station and pull the mains plug from the mains socket. Stop operating the solder-
ing station and have it inspected by a specialist.
