• Now measure the temperature at the soldering tip with a precise measuring probe
and read the actual temperature at the thermometer.
Use a small measuring probe for the measurement, since large-area
sensors may falsify the result. K-type thermal sensors are well suit-
able.
• Set the value read at the temperature controller. Turning
changes the value in the “SET” line.

y push the button “PRESET 2”. The setting menu
is terminated and the current soldering tip temperature
is displayed.
• If you push the button “PRESET 2” for a longer time last, the preset temperature of
“PRESET 2” is adjusted. In both cases, the new soldering gun has been success-
fully calibrated. Switch off the soldering station when it is not in use.
If calibration is started by accident, you can terminate it at any time by
switching off before pushing the button “PRESET 2”. The pre-set values
are retained.
