Correction of Soldering Tip Temperature
The temperature display was reconciled with use of soldering tips with a 0° de-
viation. When using other soldering tips, the temperature displayed will deviate by
10°C from the actual soldering tip temperature. This means that the display shows
270 °C --> The actual soldering tip temperature is only 260 °C
This deviation will lead to defective solder points and can be compensated at the
soldering station.
Proceed as follows:
• Push the buttons “PRESET1” and “PRESET3” at the same time and hold them
down.
• The following display appears after approx. three seconds:
• Release the two buttons.
• The desired correction value can be set with the button “PRESET 1” for a negative
value up to - 20 °C or with the button “PRESET 3” for a positive value up to +30
°C.
• The display shows, e.g.:
• Brie
fl
y push the button “PRESET 2” for saving.
• The value has been saved. The display shows, e.g. ->
The arrow behind “TMP” indicates an active value cor-
rection (< negative / > positive).
A negative´value means that the soldering top withdraws heat from the
heating element. A higher heating output is needed for the set tempera-
ture. The opposite is the case for a positive value.
The settings are retained after deactivation of the soldering stations.
