Commissioning
• Unpack the soldering station and check all parts for damage. Damaged parts must
not be taken into operation.
• Put the deposit stand for the soldering gun into the soldering station’s side.
• Connect the soldering gun to the 5-pin socket of the soldering station. The plug
only
fi
ts the socket in the correct polarity.
• Put down the soldering gun in the deposit stand. Observe that the metal tray of the
deposit stand will heat up over time here.
• Place the soldering station on a stable and resistant surface.
• Connect the mains plug to a live socket and switch on the soldering station at the
mains switch (I = ON / 0 = OFF).
• Set the desired soldering tip temperature at the temperature controller (approx.
270 - 360 °C for lead-containing solder).
• Alternatively, you can also set the temperature via the function buttons (PRESET
1-3) by pushing once. The buttons are pre-programmed with the following tem-
peratures.
PRESET 1
= 150 °C (standby)
PRESET 2
= 270 °C
PRESET 3
= 360 °C
A preset position can be replaced by brie
fl
y pushing any other button. A preset
position is left by making a change at the temperature controller.
The temperature sensor is integrated into the heating element according
to its working method, and not in the replaceable soldering tip.
For this reason, the soldering tip needs some time to heat up to the set
temperature.
• The bar display (2) shows the heating output of the soldering gun. The number of
bars reduces when the target temperature was reached. If the shut-off tempera-
ture is exceeded, this display will go out until the correct temperature is reached
again.
