■ Ask the patient to look at the fixation target. If the patient looks in a
different direction or moves, alignment may not be conducted correctly.

The Auto Alignment function may not work correctly when eyelids and
eyelashes cover the cornea. Ask the patient to open their eyes wide or
have the physician lightly hold the patient's upper eyelid with their
fingers.
■ Explain to the patient that air will blow out when measuring intraocular
pressure to avoid surprise upon measurement.
■
This instrument is designed to perform measurement in Auto mode to
ensure higher accuracy through standard operation. However,
measurement cannot be taken by the Auto Shot function when the
patient blinks frequently or there is a problem with the cornea surface
due to diseases etc. In this case, perform manual measurement.
■ The reflection in the center of the cornea may not be clearly viewed
when any deformation and/or inflammation of the cornea is severe. In
this case, an error may occur even in Manual mode.
■
If the patient information and measurement data already exists and the
patient information needs to be edited, make sure that both the patient
information and existing measurement data belong to the same patient.
■ The deleted measurement data cannot be restored. Carefully check the
data before deleting it. When any patient information is deleted, all the
measurement data saved with the patient ID is also deleted, regardless
of the mode being displayed.
■
Do not pull paper forcibly. Trying to pull the paper out may cause
printer failure. Touch the "PRINT" button with no data stored to feed
blank paper.
■ The printer in this instrument is thermosensitive. This means the
measurements printed on the paper will fade over time. Make a copy
when storing the measurement data for long periods.
