■ Be sure to set the nozzle limiter for every intraocular pressure
examination to ensure the safety of the patient. Otherwise, the nozzle
may come into contact with the patient, resulting in injuries.
■
Check the distance between the eye and nozzle from the side when
setting the nozzle limiter so that the nozzle does not come into contact
with the patient.
■ Carefully operate the joystick to move or align the measurement
window up/down/right/left, so that it does not come into direct contact
with the patient's eyes or face.
■
Never touch the cutter in the printer. Also, never allow patients to touch
the cutter. Touching this can cause injuries.
■
When a room is rapidly warmed in a cold region in winter, fogging
occurs to optical parts and hinders measurements. In this case, wait
until fogging disappears naturally and then use the instrument.
■ Depending on the installation environment, it is possible for the surface
of the forehead pad and the chinrest to reach the maximum
temperature “43.3 ℃ ”. Do not allow the forehead pad and the chinrest to
be in contact with the patient for longer than 5 minutes.
■ Be very careful not to pinch the hand of the patient when moving the
chinrest up and down.
■
Do not touch the optical parts of the measurement window, etc. with
bare hands and keep these parts free from dust. Fingerprints and dust
will affect measurement accuracy.
■ All characters of ID number may not be displayed in the patient
information field. Check that the ID number is correct on the patient
information entry screen.
■
Always enter the ID number when saving the measurement data.
■
Be sure to touch the “New” button to delete the measurement data for
the previous patient before measuring a new patient.
