Tobii X1 Light User Manual

7.4 Appendix D: Software installed with the instal-

lation CD

When running the installation CD the drivers and some software necessary for using
the Tobii X1 Light Eye Tracker are installed. In the table below the installed software
and its function is listed.

Bonjour

This is used for communication with the eye tracker and is a

prerequisite for the other applications.

DirectX

This is a prerequisite for the other applications.

Tobii Eye Control

Suite

This is needed for the eye tracker setup configuration.

Tobii Eye Tracker

Browser

This software lists the eye trackers connected to the computer

and also includes the X Configuration Tool which allows the

user to configure the physical setup of the eye tracker in

relation to the tracked object.

Tobii X1 Light Eye

Tracker

This software contains of two main parts:

The Tobii X1 Light Configuration Guide is a step-by-

step guide for configuration of the eye tracker setup

•

The Tobii Notifier that keeps track of changes in the

monitor/screen setup, and if needed it launches the

configuration guide. It is also possible to activate a user

tracking function that launches an informaiton window if

the user moves out of the track box..
