that the bracket is ready for mounting, i.e. that the cover is removed from the double
sided tape or additional adhesive is applied to the back of the bracket and that the
area on the monitor on which the adhesive mounting bracket will be mounted has
been wiped clean.
Follow the instructions in the program on how to align the bracket. Align the white
line found on the lower orange border of the configuration program with the middle
line found at the top of the bracket (see image below). When positioned in its proper
place and after having removed the plastic protection from the adhesive tape, press
firmly on the bracket for about a minute. By pressing on the bracket after attaching it,
the adhesive tape gets a chance to cure, which reduces the risk of the bracket and
eye tracker falling off the monitor.
Attach the Tobii X1 Light Eye Tracker to the mounting bracket by placing the round
inprints in the eye tracker over the round magnets on the bracket. If the black metal
adapter is attached to the back of the eye tracker, this has to be removed first.
After you have mounted the Tobii X1 Light Eye Tracker properly and attached the
power source to an outlet and the USB connector to your computer, restart your
computer.
