3. Attach the Tobii X1 Light Eye Tracker to the
mounting bracket by placing the round imprints
on the eye tracker over the round magnets on
the bracket.
Ensure that the Tobii logo on the eye tracker is
the right way up before using the eye tracker.
4. After you have mounted the Tobii X1 Light
Eye Tracker system properly and attached
the power source to an outlet and the USB
connector to your computer, restart your
computer.
When your computer reboots the first time after the installation file has been run,
the Tobii X1 Light Eye Tracker Configuration Guide will open automatically. The
configuration guide can then be accessed within the Tobii/Tobii X1 Light Eye
Tracker folder in the Start menu. Follow the instructions in the configuration guide to
configure the eye tracker.
If you don’t plan to use your Tobii X1 Light Eye Tracker as a portable eye tracking unit
and move it between different computers with the appropriate mounting bracket, you
can affix the Tobii X1 Light Eye Tracker to the mounting bracket with the 2 M4 “regular
head” Torx screws that are included to achive better stability (see image).
