4.4.10. Uploading Configuration Files
The settings of devices connected to the network can be saved to the PC hard disk as a file. The configuration
files of all devices can also be downloaded and saved to the PC hard disk using Internet Explorer. For more
information, refer to the instruction manual of each device.
To upload a configuration file, assign the dedicated IP address to the device using the automatic IP address
assignment function.
Before uploading, the password for upload operation can be set for each device. If upload is executed, the log
file (*.ulg) is created. The log file can be opened with a text editor, allowing the upload status to be confirmed.
1. Click the "Scan" button in the toolbar to display all of the connected devices on the screen.
2. Verify the IP address of the device for which upload is executed.
Change the IP address as required.
3. Select "Configuration Upload" from the "Setting" menu.
The "Configuration Upload" window is displayed.
4. Click the leftmost box to select the device for which upload is executed.
A checkmark indicates that the device has been selected.
5. To select all devices, click the "Mark All" button. To remove the checkmark from all devices, click the "Clear
All" button.
6. If a password has been set for the device to be changed, click the "Password" button.
The password setting window is displayed.
7. Select "User" level (from User or Service) in "Level" and enter the password set for the device in the
password column.
8. To apply the entered password to all devices, click "For all devices."
